I've been turning my attention back to knitting and mittens as summer unofficially draws to a close. Not that I'm ready for summer to end... it's been a great one! We didn't do much traveling this year, but the weather was beautiful and we did lots of things close to home. And there's still lots to come in September!
My grandmother's been giving me lots of leftover yarn for mini mittens. (I've been knitting them for a year now, and will start learning how to make bigger mittens with thumbs soon!) How cute will this iris pair be (below left, inside out) once it's finished??
The mitten on the right side of the picture is in the color Victorian rose. I still have to finish it off and make the second one, but you can find a smaller pair in the same color on Etsy.
Over the next few weeks I'll be getting the inventory organized. Watch for new products in the shop; I'll be adding them frequently!
I'm also working on a fall craft fair schedule. I painted a new display last week and I think it'll be a great addition to the table. I'm already thinking of ways to organize mittens on it!
