The color of the year, according to color authority Pantone, is Radiant Orchid. This vibrant, light-to-medium purple is a beautiful color--especially with spring right around the corner! One of the first flowers to appear here in upstate NY each spring is the crocus. Mine are a pretty purple. Here's a picture from last year as we still have about 10 inches of snow on the ground right now:
Purple is one of my favorite colors. Green is the other; both were used throughout my wedding. Ideas for purple accessories are cropping up all over Pinterest and fashion blogs. Here are a few of my picks:
